Mentor and Technical Architect- As the Technical Lead for the Kerala Police Cyberdome Darkweb Monitoring Software, I led a 10-member team in developing a robust crawler and related services. Our goal was to efficiently mine dark web websites and store the data in a graph database.
- Using technologies such as Strawberry Python, Benie, MongoDB, Dgraph, RabbitMQ, GraphQL, and Kubernetes, we built a scalable solution. To streamline the crawling process, we designed a specialized service on top of the Kubernetes API to spawn jobs for website crawling.
- Our efforts resulted in scaling the solution from crawling one URL every two minutes to an impressive 60 URLs per minute, all while utilizing minimal infrastructure. This significant increase in efficiency allowed us to effectively monitor and extract valuable insights from the dark web.
- Overall, this project showcased my expertise in leading a team, leveraging cutting-edge technologies, and implementing scalable solutions to tackle complex challenges in the field of cybersecurity and dark web monitoring.
